Charmed: A Handwritten Font with Casual Charm for Creative Branding
Testing Charmed Across Brand Touchpoints
Logo Concept: On a café logo mockup, Charmed gave a handcrafted, personal feel. It worked beautifully as the main wordmark when paired with a simpler sans serif for supporting text. The contrast between the soft script and clean typography helped establish visual hierarchy.
Packaging Mockup: For a line of herbal tea labels, Charmed was perfect for the product name. Its delicate strokes and organic flow gave the packaging a boutique, handmade look. However, I avoided using it for longer descriptions—those needed something more legible.
Business Card: Used sparingly for a tagline or accent phrase, Charmed added a unique touch. But again, it wasn’t the best choice for the main contact info due to its thin lines and stylistic nature.
Social Media Layout: On Instagram stories and Pinterest graphics, Charmed worked well for short headlines or quote-based posts. It gave the visuals a personal, artisanal feel that stood out in a feed full of standard fonts.
